Data Use Disclosure
Nextdoor Auto Publisher uses data only to provide and improve the single purpose of the product: scheduling and publishing user-approved Nextdoor posts from the user's browser.
| Category | Data | Purpose |
|---|---|---|
| Account data | Email, name, profile image, sign-in provider, account access status, and account settings. | Authentication, support, and dashboard access. |
| Publishing content | Post text, uploaded images or image URLs, selected publish times, and confirmation records. | Syncing approved content to the extension and publishing the content you confirmed. |
| Extension data | API key, backend URL, cached posts and schedules, active status, last sync time, and local activity logs. | Connecting your browser to your dashboard and running approved schedules. |
| Operational logs | Publish status, error messages, trigger status, and timestamps. | Troubleshooting, support, abuse prevention, and delivery history. |
| Optional billing data | No payment information is required for the current free product. If billing is enabled later, Stripe customer and subscription identifiers may be stored. | Future subscription management if paid plans are introduced. |
| Referral data | Referral codes, referrer relationship, invite timestamps, and masked referred-user email displays. | Attributing invite links and showing referral history without exposing full referred-user emails. |
What We Do Not Do
We do not sell user data, use user data for personalized ads, transfer user data to data brokers, or collect your Nextdoor password. We do not load or execute remote extension code. Remote server communication is used for account sync, image retrieval, activity logging, and confirmed publishing triggers.
