What We Collect

Nextdoor Auto Publisher collects the account information needed to run your dashboard, including your email address, optional name, optional Google profile image, encrypted password data if you use email sign-in, your extension API key, account access status, and optional billing identifiers if billing is enabled in a future release. If you use invite links, we also store your referral code, the code used when you signed up, referral relationship records, and masked invited-user display records.

The service stores the content you create for publishing, including post text, uploaded image URLs or images, schedule times, publishing status, and activity logs. The Chrome extension stores your API key, backend URL, synced post and schedule cache, account status, and recent local activity in Chrome storage on your device.

How We Use Data

We use this data to authenticate your account, sync approved posts and schedules to the Chrome extension, publish the posts you confirmed, display activity logs, manage invite attribution, provide support, and protect the service from abuse.

The Chrome extension uses your existing browser session on Nextdoor to open the posting surface and submit the specific content that you reviewed and approved. We do not ask for, collect, or store your Nextdoor password.

Sharing

We do not sell user data. We share data only with service providers needed to operate the product, such as hosting, database, authentication, email, and storage providers. If billing is enabled in a future release, payment providers may also be used. We may also disclose data when required by law, to prevent abuse, or to protect the security of the service.

The use of information received from Google APIs will adhere to the Chrome Web Store User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements.

Retention And Deletion

We keep account, post, schedule, image, and log data while your account is active or as needed for support, security, legal, and operational records. You can delete posts and schedules in the dashboard. To request account deletion or a data export, contact support@taskmonkey.ai.
